Just got back from Sydney swap meet, got a visor and a window trim for my model A, not much there in the way of 30 - 31 bits though.

Some other stuff that tempted me, but my empty wallet helped me resist

A nice late 31 full steel roof pickup cab, bed, and the rest of the body for $8,800, roadster rear guards for $300 - 250 each, the little panel that goes between the rear guard and pickup bed for $45, a LH roadster rear quarter for $250, with a fair bit missing along the bottom. A pair of rough but fixable 28 - 29 front guards for $320. None of these sold in the first five hours.

A very interesting 392 hemi for $16500, fully rebuilt but never started.

Hi resoultion picture of the hemi here 700K

Lots of other stuff there, anyone else find any treasure?

regards,

John

I was looking for a Mallory or similar daul point Dissy (Chev) there were hundreds to suit all the others, so I left the missus(Lyn) talking to an old friend and went it alone and lowandbehold I came across Col Newham and he had an Accel Electronic and a Mallory Unilite hidden in plastic bags on his stand right next to a bag of Ballcocks anyway I bought the pair, came home stuck the Accel in the Ute hit the key and away it went (oh did I say that it came with a new ste of leads also! for $100 bucks)
Also came across a XJ lag centre with axels & hubs for $50 I was spewing at this as I just paid $250 for one hud at the Jag wreckers exchange. I was going to grab it but the guy packed up before I got back. Lots of other stuff like the 35 Ford roadster that Geoff Oppy had on his stand.
regards Garry

I can see why that hemi doesn't run...... no injector nozzles or fuel lines.

Mmmm Accel electronic ................. I hope you only paid 1/2 price for the Mallory and he through the Accel in for nothing because thats all they are worth.
Your internal module is a time bomb waiting to stop working and I guarentee your output will not be above 30K, which is the same as a point set up............... Sorry to dampen your buy, but my experience has also been shared with 3 other people here in Darwin icon_cry.gif

Hi Franky, thanks for the tip I was really looking for a dual point or HEI small cap as there is no room for the standard big cap. regards Garry

I did the same for tunnelram clearance, however after 2 accel modules on the dyno I was gutted to find out what my outputs were, if module does shit itself keep this in mind.... a module TIM015 +-$60 and a HEC716/717 $50 will give an awesome ignition set up and just use the existing trigger mechanism. This module is an off the shelf item I think was a WB holden ?????
