Can anyone recomend a good rod builder in the Geelong area, preferably someone with a good reputation for doing good body and chassis work.
Any leads welcome.

This is going to sound strange, but try Hoppers Stoppers, they dont only do brakes. They have an entire workshop area dedicated to custom work on cars and rods. They have a great metal worker, who also does really good panel work, a shit-hot auto elec, and an fabrication engineer. This is in addition to their usual brake/mechanical stuff that they do. All up about 8 people working there, and all very good at what they do.
Hoppers Crossing is only 20 minutes from Geelong, so I'll assume its in the Geelong area.
They've done a fair bit of work on my tudor of late, and Im very happy with their work.

Al's Street Rods, ring one of the Geelong boys they will know his number , he live the other side of Geelong, dont know about price etc.

Al Stewart is his name, built an A bone a few years ago that was for sale at the hot rod show.

If you look in one of the latest ASR there will be an add for the Queenscliff rod run with some numbers of Geelong guys who were organising it, they should know his number. but I didnt see him at Queenscliff this year??
