help i need to find someone to repair a vk commodore computer.
I have fitted a vk injected motor to my fc but i think we kill the computer.
does anybody fix these as the only one i can find in town is at a wreakers
that wont take it back if it wont work.

If you have fried the computer, you won't be able to repair it. How did you kill it? They are pretty robust devices. What kind of engine? What is the part number of the computer, I may have one, but you won't know if it works until you try it (BTW, you can have it for free).

thanks for reply.
Took the computer to petro-jet and they test it for me came up fine.Thanks for the offer choco.
I have fitted a vk injection motor to my fc holden.
Having trouble getting it to run.
I am at the moment pulling the injection out to run it carb.(run it, bed the cam and put the injection back)
I have tried many things with no luck.
Computer tested and working.
We have spark, ground plug on block see spark.
I have a Gregorys manual that has the edge connector for computer with tests for all the pins, and all tested fine.
Pluged computer in cranked engine, put a noid light into injector lead and it flashes.
spark, pulse crank still wont run?
Timing been cheaked and even turned 180 incase i stuffed up.
Have pulled the return line of and have fuel returing to tank.(did not cheak pressure only thought of it tonight)
So tomorrows job.
Put in points dizzy and carb manifold.
Make it run. (then we know new engine is fine)
Put in electronic dizzy.
Make in run.
All going well it will.
Put injection on and go through some tests.
Any ideas on this please let me know. I wont get to put injection back till sunday.

There are 3 things you need to get an engine to show some kind of life...spark, fuel and compression . Even if the timing was way off you'd expect a backfire.The old method of taking off a lead and holding it close to the head will determine spark and its strength. Wet plugs are a good sign of fuel...So I would check both that way. The injectors may be triggering OK but there might not be any fuel line pressure out of the regulator....and a long shot is the quality of fuel...especially if its that LRP goes off.
