What are peoples thoughts on this:

ok...i want a scoop along the lines of a xy gt shaker scoop with a flat panel filter under it then funneling down to a 4inch hole pointing backwards to hook up to the throttle body

This will live with its lower lip above the radiator and its top below the bonnet in a cool air area with access to the air at the front of the grill

I like the sound of that, if its good enough for a blown engine then why not...I presume you are going with the one peace bonnet?

Pep,

I have a rootlieb 4 piece original style bonnet with no cut out.

This is not a through the bonnet idea, it owuld live under the bonnet.

I need some way of connecting the throttle body to the cool air from the front of the car above the radiator and filtering it on the way through.

This may also hide a rather ugly part of the motor.

Just not sure on room or size of the original scoop.
