that would be the US 1800 car

Some articles do read more like a "who the phoned" than a "what they did"

guess it depends on your situation and how deep your pockets are.

Your pockets must be getting shallower by the day Brootal!

Yeah mate, didn't you hear. Larry pays me by the word!

Don't tell anyone, but I'm actually going to an assessment day tomorrow at a Pharmaceutical company. Might finally be getting somewhere.

Frank - I agree. I find the background story to the car much more interesting than the actual nitty gritty of what bits and pieces were used. I guess that's one thing "real" steel cars will have over glass. The fact that they've got a history and a story to tell. A fresh car made up of repro parts doesn't really make that much of a story.

Maybe in 50 years time when they start making Hot Rod bodies out of carbon fibre, we'll be sneering at them and worshipping the "real" glass cars.

Congrats Brett,

It's a great Article, I've just bought the mag, it's always good to see a car which is different, yet tasteful in appearance and well engineered. Rather than being different for difference sakes, and being down right ugly...

It's always good to see your own car in print.

Yeah I really enjoyed the article. It makes the fearture car more personal when the article is written in the owners own words. You could sort of feel your blood and guts in it. Larry has been using more of these personal write ups lately and it's bloody good reading.

If you want Corny Venacular try cruzin, sometimes I wonder if the bloke ( or person, could be female) writing some of the stories even knows what they're looking at?

I have read some real woeful stories in there, not saying ASR is faultless, just that the cruzin blokes should use some Editorial direction every now and then.

Haven't I prostituted myself enough already???

Keep an eye out for the next issue of Street Machine. Not the one with Ben Bray's Ute on it, but the one after that.
