Here are some photos of a 1934(?) Miller Offy that I took during the 2003 Speed On Tweed. Never mind the gullwing, just joking .
Enjoy!

front view of 4wd Miller. Ain't she a thing of beauty?

The Mighty Offy.

Who's that ugly mug in rearview mirror?

Front suspension, great engineering for early/mid 30s

Yup! Haven't visited it for a while about 5 months ago actually. I downloaded the sounds on my first visit to the site and they sound unreal, the offy 4 cylinder sound even better in real life!
The one pictured above is 1 of 2 built with Four Wheel Drive (look at bottom & second Bottom photo) notice driveshafts pretty cool stuff , Hey!
I've got footage on the video camera that I need to save some still shoots of, so I'll post a couple more pics when done.
Cheers!

I saw a 1/4(?) scale 4 cylinder offy on the cover of restored cars. Was this the one you talking about above?

I'm quite sure a place in the US make reproductions from the original tech drawings that are spot on reproductions.

Here are some more pics. I still need to save the stills from the video camera.

Group shot from Auto 1.

Someones trying to be artistic

1600cc Ford 4 cylinder from memory!

There are a couple of flathead V8 specials as well coming soon!

Bit too far to drive and even further to drive back home in a car you've been thrashing all weekend.
Still would be fun tho.

In case you think this thread isn't Hot Rod related you should know that at least two of Street Rodding's gents have competed in recent years - John Kean raced his FJ the year before last, then missed last year, perhaps to work on his chopped '28 Coupe with supercharged Ford motor. The spunky little blue coupe was completed and registered late last year.

Another competitor for the last two years was Jim Peall, in his '38 Standard, which is powered by a normally aspirated Nissan 2 litre. Just before I left the track 'Stretch' was coming second in his class - the same class the Cobras run in. Stretch was proudly wearing his old Rods Inc jacket at the meet.

Bastard. His still fits.

Oops, nearly forgot. Alan Evans, also from Rods Inc and the owner of a pert little yellow '30 Coupe that has been on the road for years, may also be there. He swapped the 350 out of his road racing 'Vette last year, and into an HT (Bathurst?) Monaro for roundy roundy racing.

He also fits into his Rods Inc jacket. Bastard.

Further proof the Tweed Area Street Rodders had a display at the Brisbane Hot Rod show promoting The Festival Of Speed on Tweed. Glen Potter volunteers at the event! (he has a 37 Chev). There maybe a ridge-e-didge GT40 at this years event plus various race car drivers. Lets hope!
