I'll be heading off to the Super Chev Swap Meet at Sandown this Sunday.
Maybe I'll see some of you there?

I cant make it ! .............

But got a good reason ... remember recent discussions about 'the arab'

well outta the blue on tuesday nite .. phone rings .. and voice on other end announces " Dr Y Block here " ..... aka Doug Carter

I havent seen the Doc in years n years .

It turns out he's off to Leighton Rawlings for the Weekend .. so we're goin over tomorrow

all hangover cures will certainly be needed as Douggie luvs to see all whisky bottles the same .......... empty !!

He was tellin me he has almost completed an A Coupe .. built exactly same as his 1st rod .. channelled 7" .... 8BA mtr ..etc etc

Says roof height is ideal as stubby holder !!

So lookin forward to bein driven home from Bendigo !!

I'll be there but no car, on a mission to actually buy stuff, so will probably need more room than the roadster can give . Knowing how most swaps are though probably go home empty handed icon_cry.gif

Well, I can vouch for Carps, this time. He did turn up.....but he wasn't in a talking mood. All the usual suspects showed, which was good. Made the morning go way too fast.

A fairly good crowd, but a few empty sites. Was good to see some of those lightweight Ardun heads there.......

Didn't see you there though Greg. Did you end up going?

Hey Peddro, yep I was there. dropped by to say G'Day but the mob around your stall was a bout 3 deep, so I thought I'd come back later.
By the time I was ready to leave, I'd forgotten all about it. No reflection on you buddy, more brain fade on my behalf.
Must have been gettin my ears knawed off by Carps....

Didn't buy anything, but one of my fellow club members did. Kevin Kendall had his 34 sedan there for sale ($40K and it's yours, good value) and he ended up fulfilling a lifetime dream by buying Bruce Borlase's 34 Ford Roadster project, so now the sedan really has to go.

Been looking for some new wheels for the Chev, need deep dish so they are a little bit harder to find. Looks like I'm gunna give the Visa a run and import some. Either Torq Thrust II or Supremes, 15 x 7 (175mm backspacing)

Greg,
I'm guessing the 34 Roadster was the one on the trailer down near the pits. If it was that looks like a good little project. Had a quick peek at it on the trailer and liked what I saw.

TT's are American wheels, so you better have that in inches, coz they'all don't do mileemeteres thar!
