A reply from a mate of mine NAMED Bloke from Oakleight he says
DO what u want to do
Be what U want to be

All I was on about how some shops only offer you advice on FORD RODS and not on full REG .To me the W.A laws make more sense.
I wasnt having a go at anybody but the whole system you have to go through .

And no I want be out of a job with my attitude
Thats why people like me hide out in this world .
Its more like a disease than a career choice being a roadie.

So can we assume your entire wardrobe consists of knee length shorts, basketball boots and a massive collection of tour t-shirts. Any colour as long as they're black?

Yeah, we can relate to your frustrations with rego...If you go back through thge threads you will see what I mean....But at least most states have adopted the new scheme and full rego is attainable..

When I was in a band, the roadies were the best paid...After I took out all the costs ( truck repairs, rego, fuel, parking tickets etc ) and equipment failure repairs ( even though I done the electonics, speaker recones are not cheap, lights ..pars are expensive ) Accommodation for everyone and roadies...what was left was divided up between the band members. Many times we got nothing, in fact we paid....yeah it was fun but I couldn't do it now ...So at least you get paid more often than the band members I bet........For a while there I thought you might have been a roadie for Rodney Rude
