If its been registered in other states, No problems just a straight swap,
A fresh rod and you have to submit a MVR modifications form, depending on setup, it will sit an MVR meet (once a month) and they will tell you that eg. tube needs 4mm thickness not 3mm etc.
Or if its built to Oz guidelines, Its a straight go to MVR an engineer type person may check it and away you go, even with the guidelines you can still get excemtions eg. 12" rims as I have.

Outback give me more info on rod and I can be more specific or I an put you in touch with Ian Kirkham here in Darwin who is on MVR commitee.

Yeah well you know, I live next door to one of the local constabulary.....

Actually it's not my car, sadly Crying or Very sad , it's this fellow building the bucket,

He's bought a kit for the chassis/body, I don't know who from though. I don't think he has much idea about getting it regoed, so I don't want to see him get himself into trouble come rego time.

It's got a 302 an C4, transverse leaf up front, coils out back, just a standard T Bucket Chassis, I'm guessin.

I'll try to find out more details, or put him onto the fellow you're talkin about.

Cheers,

Glenn
