HAMBster Cars - Number 11, Rod Hadfield. Vic

This is Haddie's Humber HAMBster and has now been completed and is running! See the Construction Photos below! The car is based in Castlemaine, Vic.

 
T Ford Chassis, stock length, stepped 5 inches at rear.


Humber motor and 4 speed trans (Commer block).
3 x 2” S.U. carbies from a Jaguar with 1 7/8th” zoomies.


1 5/8th” Reynolds tube roll cage and side intrusion bars.


Hand formed fuel tank with Moon brackets.


1932 Ford wheels,  3 ½” and 6” by 18”.


Datsun ute steering box


8 inch Ford Diff from U.S. Falcon Sprint,  mini spool and Sigma brakes.
Adjustable coil overs on the rear with 4 bar.

 
T Ford steering wheel. Old VDO gauges.


T Ford front axle with 3 inch drop and relocated front spring, gained another 3 inches.
1917 Dodge cowl, shortened, narrowed and channelled over chassis, grafted to fibreglass T bucket sides and back also shortened and narrowed. T grille shell, custom radiator, auto meter and wings. Painted grey and black with T Ford tail light. Motor bike coil overs at the front with friction shockers also.
